Introduction
The Roaring Twenties was the time of fun, change and diversity. laws were changed such as the womans rights to vote laws, people were wealthy as prices had dropped and parties were endless. It was a decade of great economic growth and technology improvments. The French called it the "années folles"
(" The Crazy Years"), expressing the era's social, artistic and cultural drive. New dances and music was the rage, the 'Charleston', the 'Black Bottom' and jazz. Jazz evolved from black music and became almost the only way that black people could be successful in America. The Eighteenth Amendment was in force, this was the ban of alcohol being manufactured, transported, or sold in the United States. this was the begging and the start of the Roaring Twenties. It ended with the great depression a time in which people, many people became broke and the stock market fell.
